Booking is now open for the second Geeky Puffin Knit Palooza retreat to be held in Farnham, Surrey, UK, from Thursday, 10-November-2016, through Sunday, 13-November-2016. Sit and knit or spin in an historical hotel and enhance your skills with classes taught by leading knitting designers, spinners, and creative business maven Tara Swiger.
Learn how to knit seamless sweaters and publish your own patterns with Joeli of Joeli Creates. Take control of your knitting and master knitting toe up socks two at a time with Louise Tilbrook of Louise Tilbrook Designs. Rachel Brown of Porpoise Fur will show how to swatch successfully and improve your spinning skills. An on site market, which will be open to both retreat attendees and the general public on Saturday, 12-November-2016, will showcase numerous fibre related businesses from the UK and beyond. Fibre related businesses (yarn/fibre dyers, bag makers, pattern designers, etc.) are welcome to apply to vend through Wednesday, 15-June-2016, at GeekyPuffinKnitPalooza.com
The retreat fee includes two classes of your choice and additional classes are available to purchase. Attendees will also receive a goody bag including exclusive yarn, a project bag, patterns, and much more! They can also participate in an exciting knit along spanning the summer months culminating in fun and prizes at the retreat.
